| Your background | Usual fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance, CA or CMA, accountants, Tally users | SAP FICO | The finance vocabulary is already there, so it is the fastest module to sound credible in. |
| Supply chain, purchase, stores, inventory, MBA Operations | SAP MM | You already live the procure-to-pay process. It is also the highest-volume area in Indian manufacturing. |
| Sales, business development, customer service, MBA Marketing, BBA | SAP SD | Order-to-cash is already your daily job, only manual today. |
| Mechanical, production or industrial engineers, plant and PPC experience | SAP PP | You understand BOMs and shop-floor reality. There are fewer PP consultants than MM, so it is less crowded. |
| Warehouse, dispatch, 3PL and logistics operations | SAP EWM | Niche, and a strong second module for someone who already knows MM. |
| BCA, MCA, B.Tech CS or IT, sysadmins, DBAs, network and infra engineers | SAP BASIS | Technical without heavy coding. Support and managed services hire in volume. |
| B.Tech, BCA, MCA, anyone who already enjoys writing code | SAP ABAP | A smaller talent pool than general web development. |
