What SAP MM actually is
SAP MM runs procurement and inventory. It covers what the company buys, from whom, at what price, when it arrives, where it is stored, what it is worth, and how the vendor gets paid. It is the highest-volume functional area in Indian manufacturing, and it feeds finance on every single movement.
What the job looks like on a normal day
- Build a release strategy so purchase orders above a value need manager approval
- Find out why a goods receipt posted to the wrong GL account (account determination)
- Set up subcontracting for a vendor who does machining on our own material

- Organisation structure: company code, plant, storage location, purchase org
- Material master and vendor master (Business Partner in S/4HANA)
- Purchasing cycle end to end: PR, RFQ, PO, GR, invoice verification
- Purchase order types, contracts, scheduling agreements, info records
- Release strategies and approval workflows
- Goods receipt, goods issue and movement types
- Inventory management, stock types: unrestricted, quality, blocked
- Special procurement: subcontracting, consignment, stock transport orders
- Pricing procedure and condition technique
- Valuation, split valuation and material valuation classes
- Account determination (OBYC) and the link to FICO
- Physical inventory and an introduction to MRP
- Reporting: MB52, MB51, MB5B, ME2N and the equivalent Fiori apps
- End-to-end live project on real business scenarios

Certification, stated plainly
Associate certification C_TS452, Sourcing and Procurement, 76% cut score. Verified with SAP 11 Aug 2026; re-check before quoting.
Straight answer on scope. SAP's own learning journey for this certification is longer than our taught hours: ours is around 50 hours on the same topic areas and the same system work, and you keep practising on your 24x7 server login between classes. We prepare you and help you register; the exam is set, run and priced by SAP, and is separate from the course fee.
A TalentGlow completion certificate is not an SAP certification. Only SAP issues an SAP certification, and we will never blur that line.

Will I definitely get a job after this?
No, and anyone who tells you yes is lying to you. What we do is specific and real: your CV rewritten the way screening software actually reads it, your LinkedIn rebuilt, mock interviews on your own module, and your profile put in front of employers and recruiters we speak to. We never charge a candidate a placement fee. The rest is you and the market.
Do I get an SAP certificate at the end?
You get a TalentGlow course-completion certificate, which proves you trained with us. That is not the same thing as an SAP certification, which is an exam set and run by SAP itself and carries a credential ID an employer can verify. We prepare you for that exam and help you book it. The exam fee is paid to SAP and is separate from the course fee. We will never blur those two things together.
Is SAP not dying, now that everything is cloud and AI?
SAP is the cloud move: that is what S/4HANA is. SAP has said mainstream maintenance for the older ECC generation ends in 2027, with an extended option to 2030, so companies are being pushed to migrate. Those migration projects are exactly why consultants are being hired now. AI reads the data. Somebody still has to configure the process that produces it.
Can I do this while working full time?
Yes. Batches run on weekdays or weekends, morning or evening, and you can switch between online and the centre in Hebbal. You also get your own 24x7 login on a live S/4HANA system, so the practice happens on your schedule, not ours.
I can learn this free on YouTube. Why pay?
Some of it, yes, and we would not stop anyone. Two things YouTube cannot give you: your own login on a real S/4HANA system to practise on at midnight, and a person who answers the specific error on your screen on a Sunday.
