What SAP FICO actually is
SAP FICO records the financial life of the company. FI is external accounting: general ledger, payables, receivables, assets, taxes, bank and statutory reporting. CO is internal: what each cost centre, product and project actually costs. Every purchase, sale and stock movement anywhere in SAP ends up here as an accounting document.
What the job looks like on a normal day
- Set up a new company code and chart of accounts for a plant that just opened
- Fix why a vendor invoice is not matching the purchase order and the goods receipt
- Close the month: post accruals, run depreciation, and get the reports out

- Introduction to SAP, S/4HANA and the FICO landscape
- Enterprise structure: company, company code, business area
- Chart of accounts, GL master data, account groups, field status
- Fiscal year variant, posting periods, document types and number ranges
- General Ledger accounting and the new GL / Universal Journal
- Accounts Payable: vendor master, invoices, payments, automatic payment run
- Accounts Receivable: customer master, billing, incoming payments, dunning
- Asset Accounting: asset classes, acquisition, depreciation, retirement
- Bank accounting, house banks and bank reconciliation
- Taxes in India: GST configuration and tax procedures
- Controlling: cost element, cost centre and profit centre accounting
- Internal orders, and an introduction to product costing
- Integration with MM and SD: automatic account determination
- Standard reports and Fiori apps, month-end and year-end closing
- End-to-end live project on real business scenarios

Certification, stated plainly
Associate certifications C_TS4FI (Financial Accounting) and C_TS4CO (Management Accounting). Verified with SAP 11 Aug 2026; re-check before quoting.
Straight answer on scope. SAP's own journey is 77 hours or more for Financial Accounting and 106 for Management Accounting. Ours is around 50 taught hours on the same topic areas and the same system work, so you keep practising on your 24x7 server login between classes. Most learners sit Financial Accounting first and add Management Accounting later. We prepare you and help you register; the exam is set, run and priced by SAP.
A TalentGlow completion certificate is not an SAP certification. Only SAP issues an SAP certification, and we will never blur that line.

Will I definitely get a job after this?
No, and anyone who tells you yes is lying to you. What we do is specific and real: your CV rewritten the way screening software actually reads it, your LinkedIn rebuilt, mock interviews on your own module, and your profile put in front of employers and recruiters we speak to. We never charge a candidate a placement fee. The rest is you and the market.
Do I get an SAP certificate at the end?
You get a TalentGlow course-completion certificate, which proves you trained with us. That is not the same thing as an SAP certification, which is an exam set and run by SAP itself and carries a credential ID an employer can verify. We prepare you for that exam and help you book it. The exam fee is paid to SAP and is separate from the course fee. We will never blur those two things together.
Is SAP not dying, now that everything is cloud and AI?
SAP is the cloud move: that is what S/4HANA is. SAP has said mainstream maintenance for the older ECC generation ends in 2027, with an extended option to 2030, so companies are being pushed to migrate. Those migration projects are exactly why consultants are being hired now. AI reads the data. Somebody still has to configure the process that produces it.
Can I do this while working full time?
Yes. Batches run on weekdays or weekends, morning or evening, and you can switch between online and the centre in Hebbal. You also get your own 24x7 login on a live S/4HANA system, so the practice happens on your schedule, not ours.
I can learn this free on YouTube. Why pay?
Some of it, yes, and we would not stop anyone. Two things YouTube cannot give you: your own login on a real S/4HANA system to practise on at midnight, and a person who answers the specific error on your screen on a Sunday.
